Good Performance/Terrible Venue Organization
Enjoyed the show, but having to walk so far just to find the nearest restroom, and then being directed to walk back to your seat a longer way around was a huge inconvenience. Even worse, when attempting to leave, one was again directed to walk to some other far away area, only to get there and find that other areas were blocked with mobile gates. We finally just had to move one just to get out to our vehicle.
We attend/have been attending many concerts over many yrs, and this venue was by far the most confusing, unorganized, frustrating and unpleasant experience to date.
Would love to see Maroon 5 again, but not at this venue. Maroon 5 gets five stars, the venue recv’d three only because Maroon 5 played there
Good time
The concert was great. Just disappointed in the timing and date. The original concert was to be on a Friday night at 7pm. Was to be my granddaughter's first concert at 13. Of course due to COVID, the dates had to change. Sadly it ended up on a Tuesday/school night. Everything said start at 7. We all know that concerts seldom start on time, so we thought surely by 7:30 or so. Nothing really started till close to or after 8. I just wish that event organizers and performers could do a better job of planning. I get that things happen, etc., just maybe try to be a bit timely. The staff at the event were great. They kept the lines moving for the vaccine/negative test check, the security, and the entrance. Friendly and helpful.
Disappointing
The much anticipated Maroom 5 show at the New Hard Rock Live Sacramento was such a disappointment. This was opening night for the venue, yet by Maroon 5's lackluster performance you wouldn't have known it.
When Adam Levine took the stage he looked terrible like he was sick or just didn't care. The band itself was just going through the motions, no energy or showmanship.
Levine did little to engage the crowd or recognized it was opening night for the venue. Mid way through the show he all, but admitted that his performance wasn't equal to the event.
It came off as a go through our playlist grab the cash and run show.
The venue itself is very nice I'll have no issue with seeing a different act their just not Maroon 5, ever.
